InfraGard is a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) program that is an alliance between academia, private industry and the FBI. The FBI assigned national program responsability for InfraGard to the Cyber Division in 2003. InfraGard members and the FBI exchange information that assists in protecting national and private sector assets and exchanges information to assist the government in addressing cyber-crime and terrorism. InfraGard Members receive unique information through the FBI secure information system and an opportunity for information exchange with cyber-security professionals. InfraGard membership is free.
